How did Aerion Academy get started?
Aviation training can be accomplished in many different ways. You could go to a college and get all your certificates over the course of 4 years while also getting a degree. Perhaps you might attend a dedicated flight school that fast tracks lots of aspiring pilots looking to start their careers. Or maybe you find a personal instructor at a local mom and pop company at the nearby airport. There are endless possibilities and paths to achieving your dream to be a pilot, but rarely do any of them give you all the tools you need to effectively and cheaply study information on your own.
They may give you a pile of books and tell you "good luck", or maybe they'll have poorly made slideshows with bad spelling that will have you falling asleep seconds into it. At best, they'll probably recommend a YouTube video for you to watch on your own time. All of this will very likely lead to you needing more one-on-one time with your instructor which will cost you lots of money, possibly hundreds to thousands of extra dollars.
Making a solution to the problem
Although there are already options available to students to buy online training courses to help them in their studies, they are all either text-based, video-based and often looking outdated like they're decades old, and/or very expensive costing hundreds to thousands of dollars themselves (which defeats the cost savings of not having to pay your instructor for extra time). The problem with all these are that aside from often being unaffordable, they're not very interactive if at all. Having personally gone through this dilemma with a lack of modern and affordable options, we decided to change that. Aerion Academy is a whole new way to learn aviation knowledge. It not only includes, but is built upon the latest 3D graphics technology available and incorporates interactivity wherever possible making the learning experience feel more like a game than just another education software. We believe that you learn best when you can interact with the lesson topic being discussed, not just watching someone else talk about it. We want to bring you the best education experience possible at an actually affordable price that will save you money while more effectively help you learn the material at the same time.
